Don't be too much put off by DeMario's remarks!Finale is a very powerful, professional music publishing tool. It has many, many features and takes dedication and a significant investment of time to learn to use it properly. The documentation is very good but there is a lot of it and you have to take the time and trouble to read it! A significant number of the questions posted on these boards need never be asked because the answers are in the documentation.
The main question you should be asking yourself is, do your specific requirements justify as powerful as program as Finale, or should you perhaps be aiming at a slightly less complex product?
