Re: When Coda will port Finale to Linux ?
Message:I'm using Finale (WIN) since ~6 years now and it didn't make my system hang since two years now - IMHO its stability has improved a lot. As far as I can judge, system crash problems even got less discussed within this forum because they seldom occur now.Concerning LINUX: it's not a widely accepted platform for music applications, it's still hard to get good soundcard drivers, sequencer applications and - admittedly - notation software. But I don't see any dramatic change in this field. Most music people work with Mac or Windows and for small companies (like Coda) it's enough work to get their work done for these existing two platforms. It would definitely be expensive to make a Linux version and presumerably TOO expensive for this small market. Harald
