Otherwise you could just load the libraries you need. Yes, there's a limited expressions in NotePad. I was wondering if there was a way to load them. ...

Hi, I tried it n both 2012 and NotePad. Had limited expressions but they were there. Saved the NotePad as MUS. Opened with v27, still blank.

Sounds like a font problem if you open a 2012 file in 27 and see the missing text. Have you rebooted the computer since installing 27? Might be a good idea to do it anyway. Make sure Undo is enabled in Preferences.

Old ones. Allow Undo worked. Thanks very much! Also, expression selection is blank, again, in old ones.

Just upgraded for 2012 to v27. Many problems. One is, I'm getting blank boxes, for example, for expressions--nothing in there. Oh, and the redo / undo isn't working. Windows 10.

Hello, I just upgraded to v27 and have installed NotePerformer. I'm following the instructions to the letter. But when I click on the pencil in preferences, which is supposed to open the NP mixer, I get no mixer.

This sounds like Windows didn't assign .musx files (i.e. what happens if you double-click on them) to version 27 when it was installed. There might have been a choice you made when you installed it that caused this. See if you can open files from within Finale rather than double-clicking with Windo...

I assume you've taken the routine first steps -- reboot Finale, and if that doesn't work, reboot computer. Another long shot might be to Save As instead of Save. I upgraded from 2012 to v27. v27 converts just fine. But when I close and save, it saves as a 2012 musx. The file has the 2012 icon, not the v27 icon. And that file will not open in v27. However, if I remove the x from musx it will now open in V27. Help, please.

In page view, I have three total pages. When I print, it takes four pages. The part has no rests, therefore page turning four pages would be difficult. I resized and fit to two pages. But no change--the printer still prints out four pages!

No matter what sounds I select, input and playback is piano.

Finale 2012. SoftSync worked fine the last nine years.

I edit Aria Player to, for example, Finale Default / Orchestral Percussion. On the Aria keyboard, I hear all those sounds. But when I enter notes, some (many) of those sounds are gone--I don't hear them inputting or playing back. Also, with SoftSync, all I get is piano sound when I select percussion...
