Unison tied notes erroneously play back

I think the ties were confused as to which notes they belonged to, on those unison Gs. I moved all of the "right hand" notes from G to A, and they played correctly. Then, I moved them back to the G, and they stayed correct.

Zuill, I studied your fixed document but cannot see the difference between it and my original attachment. When writing a tied unison note, how does one "check Tie Ends"? In the Speedy Edit Commands drop-down menu, there is nothing to check. You cannot be referring to tie handles as that tool is different to Speedy Edit.

Speedy Entry Tool.
Click outside the staff, to exit the entry rectangle.
Hold down Ctrl*), and click on the measure/staff.
*) Users of Mac Finale should hold down Option instead of Ctrl.
NB:
There is a separate Frame for each measure/staff/layer.
Make sure that you are in the correct measure/staff/layer.

Thank you for responding.
I clicked on "Next Entry" in Edit Frame and took a screenshot of each in Zuill's fixed copy. I then compared the four screenshots with what I have in my problematic copy: they are identical. So what am I overlooking?

I think you are confusing the Entries with the Slots. Look at Entry Slot 1 and Note 3. Then Entry Slot 2 and Note 3. Those are the ones where Tie End is not checked.
I know the Edit Frame can be confusing, but once you get to know how it works, it should become your best friend.

Thank you for your patience. Your instructions do not work on my version. I can't spin your magic.
If you look at Edit Frame in your fixed copy, "Tie End" is also not checked in any Note Slot. Clicking OK after checking the box does not save the setting. Below are the steps I tried that fail.
1. Speedy Entry Tool -> click outside of staff to exit entry rectangle.
2. Hold down "Ctrl" key -> click in measure with the problematic tied note(s). "Edit Frame" will appear.
3. Click on "Next Note" (Note ID:2, Note Slot: 1) -> check box for "Tie End" -> OK.
Please let me know if a check mark in the "Tie End" box of any Note Slot remains checked after clicking OK in your version, so Finale won't rob any more of my life than it has done already.

Near the top of the frame, you need Entry Slot 1. Near the bottom, Note Slot 3. Forget about Note ID. Be concerned with the Entry Slot at the top, and Note Slot at the bottom. Repeat for Entry Slot 2 and Note Slot 3.

That worked! Whew! That is a right-brain exercise. Thank you.
Does "Entry Slot 0 correspond with the first item in the measure, like an articulation, note, float rest or beam?
Does "Note Slot"correspond with whichever "Entry Slot" is selected?

Entry slots move from left to right through the measure. Note slots are for multiple notes (chords) on any Entry Slot.

Actually it is Finale's unit of one measure of one staff of one layer.motet wrote:… the frame, Finale's unit of one measure of one staff …

That makes sense.
I still need to grasp that one entry slot can have several note slot elements, like a chord with assigned articulations.
Image Google getting hold of Finale and simplifying note entry by applying its speech recognition technology to notation. We could write an orchestral piece in less than an hour.
