I learned quite a long time ago, that you don't get very far when requesting software fixes or features when you are a little guy. Companies only fix or add features when they have multiple requests, or when they must respond to a competitor. I have never used any of the features you mentioned on your post. I would guess that many others haven't either or Coda would have fixed them by now. They decide what to fix or add based upon the biggest squeaky wheel. All software companies I know, including the one I work for have to respond like this. They fix or add the features that the most people want.

So, I just use what is there, and am very happy when a new feature is added that I need or appreciate. I know that many don't agree with me and that is their right. I can also understand that those on a limited budget or hobbyist might feel differently. I use Finale for a small home business and for a hobby. I count the costs of keeping current part of the hobby. If I don't keep current, I cannot expect Coda or any other software company to give me complete tech support. They have limited resources and cannot support every version going back to 2.2 which is where I joined the process.

When I stress out over things I cannot control I only make myself unhappy. So I don't worry about those type of things. I let my desires known to Coda to be sure, but I don't run off in a huff when my pet feature is not implemented or fixed Perhaps you can now better understand my position and my earlier post.
